What I did today

Today's list of things I've done:
Watched the movie Emma.
Read a book about cool ways to write, and tried out a few.
Practiced gymnastics (I almost have my back walkover!).
Worked on my blog (that's what I'm doing right now).

What I hoped I had done today:
Baked cinnamon bread.
Worked more on my gymnastics.

I guess there is more time to do that stuff...ohhh, not the bread.  It'll take to long.
Anyway, you can see how exciting today was...not!  Valentine's day was fun though.  We went to a restaurant in the morning.  Hung out during the day (and home schooled).  And in the evening, my family and I hung out and enjoyed family time while eating some ice cream.  Yum!  Tell me all about how

Today in the car I was listening to a Sanctus Real song and the singer was saying that he would fight the tide for someone (I don't know who he was talking about), that got me thinking, the tide is something very natural, it involves the moon and water, things like that,  I thought of it a different way too...think of the tide as earthly stuff (money, fads, fame), and on the beach is a huge party that looks REALLY fun, and your invited!  But you know that even though you cannot see it you know that Hawaii is out there somewhere (think of Hawaii as heaven), and you want to get there, but you have to fight the tide, and swim all by yourself to Hawaii,  then comes along a boat, Jesus is in the boat, and offers a free ride to Hawaii in it, now it's your choice, you can get in the boat knowing it will not be an easy ride, or you can have the comfort of having you in control and you swim to Hawaii all by yourself.  I got the Hawaii and boat idea from a book called The Christy Miller Collection.

Here's another thought, you are on a cruise boat to Hawaii (heaven, remember?) and you have a lot of bags with you from a whole bunch of things that happened in the past. you have a nice room in the cruise boat, but you can't get in the room because you are holding on to all your past junk, it reminds you of bad stuff, but you can't let it go, so for all of you who are holding on to past junk (including me), throw it overboard!  I also got this from the book Christy Miller.

Music rocks!!!

One of my favorite things to do is listen to Christian rap music, most of the time it's by Toby Mac, and try to sing along.  Sometimes it's really hard, like when I tried to memorize the song Ready by Britt Nicole.  But the Toby Mac song Unstoppable was really easy.  It's different with each song.  I like hip-hop and rock the best.  What is your favorite type of music?  You can let me know by clicking on the little pencil at the bottom of the page.  I really want to publish a book before I become an adult.  Do you have a dream or goal that you would love to accomplish?  Let me know!  I'm going swimming today after I do gymnastics (of course, I gotta lay down my priorities).  We don't go swimming too often so this is a treat.  And gymnastics was cancelled last week because of the snow, so I am very excited to go back today.  Do you have favorite sports or hobbies? Hello everyone!  I love this blog already!  I can't wait to write about stuff that I am doing (I know, it sounds really boring).           Me and my AWESOME mom

      Watching the Olympics!  I like the ice skating the most!  Today I made some mini cupcakes and used my new cinnamon icing...it tastes really interesting.  I LOVE baking, gymnastics, reading and writing SO much!  I like anything that involves words.  Oh and kids...I LOVE hanging out with kids, and babysitting.

I wish that I had more interesting stuff to write about, but Valentines Day is coming up.  The one thing that I wish I had more of are those little candy conversation  hearts...those things taste GOOD!!!
